How You Can Help
 

From November 18th through December 23rd, anyone can support the 2nd Annual “Holiday Hope for Park Lawn”.  Stop by one of our participating branches listed below and purchase a decorative ornament.  The ornament will then be proudly displayed on the Park Lawn holiday tree located in each branch.    The list of needs continues to grow as Park Lawn’s residents age.  Your donation will make a tremendous difference for so many lives.

Raise Holiday Hope for Park Lawn

 

Holiday Hope for Park LawnStandard Bank will once again run its holiday campaign to collect monetary donations to benefit Park Lawn. 

Park Lawn is a non-profit organization offering a variety of programs and services such as adult developmental training, residential facilities, vocational training, supported employment and more for individuals with developmental disabilities since 1955.  These programs are diverse and address the needs of individuals within a wide range of developmental disabilities from mild to profound, many having secondary disabilities and/or health issues.  Park Lawn services southwest metropolitan Chicago and suburban areas.  The mission of Park Lawn is to provide services that promote independence, choice and access to community for people with developmental disabilities.
 

Park Lawn Angel Fund
 

The funds raised by Standard Bank will go specifically towards the Angel Fund at Park Lawn. These donations will help purchase much needed items for individuals that may have multiple medical, physical and intellectual disabilities and also lack a strong family support network.  Since the Angel Fund was created in the mid 1990’s donations have helped with the following:
  • Bedroom sets and new mattresses
  • Rocking chairs for those who suffer from dementia
  • Special purchases of everyday living expenses
  • Maintenance and upkeep of specialized equipment for specific medical needs
