Stephen Druse throws out first pitch at Standard Bank Stadium
On May 26, 8 year old Stephen Druse was a natural as he threw out the first pitch at Standard Bank Stadium. Despite the cold and rain Druse had a great time attending the game with his father Richard, brother David and family friend Sarah. Druse was the winner of Standard Bank’s “Throw out the First Pitch” which was promoted during the bank’s Customer Appreciation Week. In addition to throwing out the first pitch, Druse received a Windy City Thunderbolts autographed baseball, hat and bag full of Standard Bank items.
Druse said that he had a great time at the stadium as he met Boomer, the Windy City Thunderbolts mascot.
Three more lucky winners will be throwing out the first pitch at the following games: June 25th “Irish Night”; July 23rd “Country Night” and August 13th “Elvis Night”.
Standard Bank is offering customers and members of the neighborhoods it serves a chance to throw out the first pitch at a Windy City Thunderbolts game. To enter, simply stop by Standard Bank Stadium, 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood, on game nights and visit the Standard Bank booth, fill out an entry and meet the friendly Standard Bank staff.
