New CheckFree® Bill Pay Coming This Week!

On July 20th, Standard Bank will be launching a new and enhanced version of our customer online bill payment service. The new service from CheckFree® will offer many new benefits and features including better cash flow control and the ability to accept electronic bills. Best of all, the new bill pay features a new payment model where your account will be charged on the same day the biller receives the funds for your payment.

You will continue to access bill pay through www.standardbanks.com. The majority of your payees will also be converted to the new system. In rare instances, a payee may not convert or the payee information may not be what you initially entered when you added your payee to the old bill pay system. We will do our best to ensure we have the most current address and account information but we will also need your help to make sure all of your payments process correctly. Once we have moved to the new bill payment service it will be very important that you login to the new site and ensure that all of your payee information is accurate.

The bill pay system will be unavailable from Monday, July 18th at 1:00 pm until Wednesday, July 20th.  The first time you log into bill pay on or after July 20th, you will be asked to accept Terms and Conditions for bill pay. Please review the Terms and Conditions carefully as they have been updated.

History of your payments will not be converted to the updated system. If you prefer to have a record of your payment history, we recommend that prior to July 18th you access and print off any history you may need.  In addition, you can find these records in your monthly statements.  Our Telephone Banking Center is also available to be of assistance with accessing your payment history.   You may contact us at 866-499-BANK (2265).
